Who We Are
At Husband & Brown we pride ourselves on our agency’s personal approach to clients as well as a deep and varied knowledge base of the residential property industry. We’ve gathered this experience through over 75 collective years of hard work for some of the country’s largest housebuilders, buying and selling development land for housing.
We recognise that whether a client is a corporate property professional or a private individual, he or she will want an agent with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes. With this in mind, we have assembled a team that is highly experienced in land acquisition, planning and development of residential schemes across the North East.
Kevin Husband Bsc Hons – Company Director
In the ten years that he has spent in the residential industry, Kevin has worked as a land buyer/manager for some of the largest developers in the country including Berkeley Group, Persimmon Homes and Charles Church. Kevin also has a number of years of agency experience having ran the regional King Sturge LLP residential land and new homes department, where he helped private land owners and local authorities realise value from their assets.
Lee Brown Bsc Hons – Company Director
Having over fourteen years of experience in the purchase and development of residential land, Lee is the driving force behind the identification and acquisition of many of Husband & Brown’s successful deals. His experience in acting for companies such as Bellway Homes, Strata Homes, Beazer Homes, Shepherd Homes and Woodford PLC has had Lee working across the Northern Region, fully involved with sourcing, appraising, negotiating and legally completing the purchase of profitable sites.
David Graham BA(Hons) DipTP MRTPI – Company Director
David Graham joined the company in April 2014 in the new role of Planning and Development Manager in order to develop our client base and skills offer. He joined from town planning consultants, Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners (NLP) where he was a Senior Associate Director. At NLP he headed up a team specialising in major residential and mixed-use developments for over a decade, securing multiple planning permissions for many of the UK’s largest housebuilders and developers. Since joining Husband and Brown he has sourced a wider range of development opportunities, both strategic and short-term, which are now moving through the planning process. He was appointed as a Director in March 2015.
